Dries quickly, ideal for the spa
The pestemal has for centuries been an important part of the Ottoman bath culture. Traditionally, it was used as a loincloth when visiting the hammam (Turkish bath). Because of its fine structure, it is breathable and dries quickly after using. Today, the pestemal is therefore often used as a towel, massage blanket or cloak after a shower or spa treatment. Because of its small size, it is also the ideal travel companion.

The tradition of soap manufacture can be traced back to the late sixteenth century in the Ileri family - at that time still as a supplier of distinguished personalities for whom were reserved for the Aleppo soaps.
